HERRMANN
TSCHAIKOWSKI

Frederick Herrmann and Jonathan Tschaikowski bring together two distinct but complementary approaches to contemporary image-making.
Herrmann builds immersive, conceptually driven visual worlds that balance surrealist undertones with a grounded, honest portrayal of people, treating his subjects as real individuals within carefully constructed environments.
Tschaikowski operates at the intersection of fashion, photography, and creative direction, using clothing and imagery as a unified language to shape culture and aesthetic narratives.
Together, they form a collaborative perspective that merges conceptual depth with a strong fashion sensibility, resulting in visually precise and culturally aware storytelling.
They share a studio in Berlin.
IN THE CLOUDS

IN THE CLOUDS combines the raw aesthetic of smartphone photography with a highly staged visual language.
All images were shot on iPhone using external flashes, creating a deliberate contrast between spontaneous snapshots and stylized high-fashion composition. A reduced cloud-fabric background establishes a minimalist, sculptural aesthetic inspired by contemporary fashion imagery.
EXHALATION

EXHALATION is a group exhibition curated by Sarah Schurian that reflects on the environmental and emotional impact of textile waste, treating it both as a symbol of harm and a starting point for renewal. It brings together different artistic perspectives into a shared space where discarded materials and their invisible consequences are made tangible. At the same time, the exhibition opens up a vision of future utopias with less waste, where artistic works, performances, and interventions interact in a continuous dialogue between decay and regeneration.
H. GOLIGHTLY

H. GOLIGHTLY a free reinterpretation of Breakfast at Tiffany’s: inspired by the idea of reading Holly Golightly as a queer figure caught between performance, longing, and social projection. The photo shoot explores the myth surrounding a possible “male” or fluid original version of the character and translates Capote’s ethereal world of outsiders into a modern visual language.
HERRMANN

FREDERICK HERRMANN aims to find the calmness of honesty within unique sets leaning into surrealism while retaining very real characteristics. When working with humans, he wants to show them as such. Working in a highly conceptual way, the sets are carefully constructed yet leave plenty of room for authenticity.
As a visual storyteller, he builds immersive worlds using still and moving pictures and everything in between.
