IT-GIRL, I GUESS. explores the illusion of connection in the digital age.
Conceived as a fashion editorial, the project examines the contradiction between constant visibility and emotional isolation through a carefully constructed visual narrative.
The protagonist exists in a world shaped by attention, numbers, and curated identities. Surrounded by the aesthetics of digital validation, she appears permanently connected while remaining detached from her immediate reality. Fame becomes a performance rather than a form of intimacy, replacing presence with the continuous production of an image.
Casting, location, styling, and image direction were developed as interconnected elements of the concept, creating an atmosphere that blurs the boundaries between aspiration and alienation. Rather than depicting social media literally, the editorial translates its psychological effects into mood, gesture, space, and visual rhythm—exploring what remains when visibility becomes louder than genuine human connection.
She doesn‘t think about it that much. I guess.
